important is, that at a fundamental level, we are all the same in being human.

17th Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, has shared much wisdom in the form of teachings and answering questions from his many followers. This blog presents the timeless wisdom he shares in his teachings and talks, in which he guides us in how to practice Dharma in genuine and practical ways. By reflecting on the teachings presented, it is possible to discover how to make this wisdom a part of not just Dharma practice, but daily life as well.
We sometimes, somewhat pretentiously, declare ourselves to
be Mahayana practitioners, because we feel that the Dharma we practice is
Mahayana. But it is not enough that the Dharma is practice be Mahayana – the
person practicing it must be Mahayana.
The temporary appearance of the protection of the Three Jewels not being evident is simply a result of our own failing to pray to them with sincerity. It is impossible that the Three Jewels could lack blessing.
